Ingredients
1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
1.5 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp butter (divided)
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
½ cup heavy cream
1 tbsp all-purpose flour (optional, for thicker sauce)
Fresh parsley, chopped (garnish)
Instructions
Season & Sear: Pat chicken dry, toss with spices. Heat oil + 1 tbsp butter in skillet. Sear chicken 5-7 mins until golden. Set aside.
Build Sauce: Melt remaining butter. Sauté garlic 1 min (don’t burn!). Pour broth, scrape browned bits. Simmer 2 mins.
Thicken & Finish: Whisk flour into cream. Stir into skillet. Return chicken. Simmer 5-7 mins until sauce coats spoon.
Serve: Garnish with parsley. Pair with mashed potatoes or crusty bread!
Notes
Crowd Control: Sear chicken in batches to avoid steaming.
Sauce Savvy: For gluten-free, swap flour with 1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water.
Cream Care: Keep heat low after adding cream to prevent curdling.
Leftover Love: Sauce thickens when chilled – add broth when reheating.
